Silver Expeditions
A range of Silver Expedition packages for groups, Schools & individuals, focusing on developing skills learnt at Bronze level and enhancing these in readiness for going on to Gold Expeditions in Wild Country.

Expeditions Wales is one of the few organisations that offers and successfully runs Open Silver Expeditions.
In addition to this, we have provided expeditions for a number of Schools, Scout and Cadet groups in recent years.
During 2012 we are offering a wider selection of expedition areas, those which we consider are both challenging and inspiring, aiming to develop within our participants a sense of wanting to explore the outdoors further.
Silver Provision for School, groups and organisations
Sample Programme
- Training course at your location, or a shorter session ‘meet and greet’ backed up with providing the training materials for you to deliver in your own time.
- 4 day training and practice expedition based at a suitable location, including recap of training in a practical manner, 1 day navigation, scenario and team work training, followed by a practice expedition.
- 3 day Silver Assessment expedition, assessed by Accredited Assessors.
In addition to this we will handle all the expedition paperwork, including notification, medical & consent, pre course information, parent handouts, emergency contacts, risk assessments and Insurance cover.
Cost £200.00 per person
In addition to the support offered to groups, we are also offering our Open Silver courses for smaller groups or individuals.

Saturday 18th - Tuesday 21st August
Price £100.00 per person per course
All course dates listed will feature Practice and Assessment groups in separate entities.
A minimum of 5 people is required before courses run.
