Participants MUST also be experienced in riding at walk/trot/canter on open land and used to hacking out on roads.
A rider questionnaire must be completed by each participant.
Are horse riding expeditions easy?

No.

It is not a horsey holiday, however, it is loads of fun, immensely rewarding and very different from other modes of travel.

I don't have a group, can I still join?

Yes! Our ‘Open’ expeditions are offered to individuals and friends to join to make up a group. If you’re an individual, don’t worry that you won’t know anyone else as most of our ‘open’ participants join us as individuals. It is a great way to make more friends and share your love of horses.

Is there a rider weight limit?

For horse welfare, the maximum rider weight permitted is 15st (95kg )
(There is A LOT of getting on/off involved)

What time do the expeditions start?

Practice expeditions start at 1pm on the course start date.
