Cycling Expeditions
For those that enjoy cycling or feel like taking on a new and different expedition challenge, whether at Gold or Silver level.
Cycling expeditions are very challenging and should not be underestimated, requiring a great deal of personal organisation and a good level of fitness. The reward is an extremely high level of self satisfaction and achievement.
We use inspiring routes, navigating along mountain valley tracks and roads, taking in occasional ascents for the spectacular views.
Safety and knowledge of cycle maintenance is something we bear strongly in mind, which is why built into our training courses are cycle maintenance sessions, alongside cycle safety training provided by qualified cycle instructors.
Cycle Expedition Programme
- 1 day training course at your location, including the basics of safe riding and cycle maintenance.
- Training and Practice expedition, including a full day of training on navigation, scenario’s, cooking and camp craft, cycle maintenance, safe riding skills and full bike checks to ensure that all equipment is in good working order and fits the rider correctly!
- Assessment expedition, assessed by Accredited Assessors.
In addition to this we will handle all the expedition paperwork, including notification, medical & consent, pre course information, parent handouts, emergency contacts, risk assessments and Insurance cover.
Gold Expedition Package: £500.00
Silver Expedition Package: £400.00
Price Includes:
Provision of all necessary cycling equipment including bikes, panniers, lights & helmets.
All campsite fee’s.
Training, Supervision and Assessment by our team.
Route planning advice and support, including provision of maps and use of digital mapping.
Paperwork and support throughout the experience from start to finish.
Insurance cover of £5 million.
