Bronze Expeditions
Bronze Expedition packages tailored to your needs and delivered locally to you in areas suited to introducing participants to outdoors experiences and expeditions.


Bronze Expedition Provision for Schools and Groups
Initial Training:
We will deliver on site a full day Introduction training programme, based on sound expedition theories and following the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expedition training syllabus, including navigation, equipment, food, emergency procedures and safety, expedition planning and team work, as well as discussions surrounding possible aims for the expedition and how to plan this into the expedition.
Training & Practice Expedition Course Programme
Day 1: Meet the staff, site introduction and safety briefings, practical training in camp craft, tent pitching, organisation and cooking, how to deal with an emergency, leading into day walk and navigation training, followed by setting up camp for the evening.
Day 2: Final day of Bronze Practice expedition, break camp and walk to end destination.
Full debrief, then return home.
Bronze Assessment Expedition
Arrive at start point. Meet staff and Assessors.
Day 1 - 2: Bronze Assessed Expedition. Staff will debrief groups at the end of each day, with a view to preparing participants for Silver.
Complete expedition, final debrief and feedback, book signing or presentations and travel home.
Price: £160.00 per person.
Price Includes:
All campsite fees.
Supervision and Assessment by our team.
Route planning advice and support, including provision of maps and use of digital mapping.
Paperwork and support throughout the experience from start to finish.
Insurance cover of £5 million.
Discounts available for groups of 30 or more.
